| Resumo | The work in hand deals with the Complexo Eólico Delfina (Delfina Eolian Complex), on the Bahia state. The complex has been planned for a highly preserved area and, because of that, a viability analysis was due. This work seeks to analyze if, for the enterprises viability study, the use of the geoprocessing techniques and sensing makes the process easier. During the study, it has been known that a project to implant a preservation unit (preserve), the PARNA Boqueirão da Onça, where the enterprise is fully installed, is underway. Four relevant thematic maps were generated for these analyses and two environmental sensitivity maps. The environmental sensitivity maps considered two possible scenarios, one considering the implantation of the PARNA preserve and the other one, excluding the implantation. The maps were generated using the ArcGIS Software (copyrighted) and QGIS (free open source). All the used data in the analyses are open and were acquired through public companies and the enterprises company hasnt granted access to private or restricted data. It has been concluded that the use of geoprocessing techniques and sensing helps in the process of studying the environmental viability and that, if the PARNA preserve is implanted, the eolian complex becomes unfeasible due to the environmental restrictions. |
